Why should you take this Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene course?

Do you work in a catering setting where food is cooked, prepared or handled?

This is the first self-paced video Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene course for Catering taught by an Environmental Health Officer (EHO), often referred to as the basic food hygiene certificate.

By law, all food handlers must have an understanding of the basic principles of food safety and know how to prepare food safely… and not just in theory. You always need to be ready for food hygiene inspections by EHOs.

EHOs aren’t just looking for food hygiene certificates. They want to know that you can work safely in practice. And they will ask you (and your staff) questions about food safety. This course helps you to be ready to answer those questions with confidence.

ATTENTION: This Level 2 Food Hygiene course isn't like the others...

If you’re just looking to ‘tick the box’ with a food hygiene certificate, you’re in the wrong place. This course is for people who want the best for their business and realise that food safety is key to their success.

Have you ever wondered why other Level 2 Food Safety courses are just “EHO approved” or “accepted by local authorities”?

Well, now you can learn directly from an EHO… like the person who will actually be doing your food hygiene inspection. This means you get direct insights to feel as confident as possible in your food safety standards.

How is this course delivered?

There are no PowerPoint slides. And no voiceover here…

Yes, I’m serious. And you don’t need to read loads of text. Instead, you see a real person in 13 short pre-recorded videos.

In only 2 hours, EHO Natalie guides you through the key aspects of food safety. Think Netflix but for food safety (alright it’s not quite as fun as Netflix). But you get the point…

That’s not all. You can also check your learning as you complete a fun quiz or interactive activity at the end of each unit. But don’t worry if you can’t complete it all in one go – your progress is saved and you can revisit the course at any time.

The main thing that drew me to this course was that it looked well laid out & straightforward to complete. And I liked that a qualified EHO was providing the information.

Cured my food safety anxiety

I thought this course was excellent. Very thorough whilst still being accessible and engaging. I found the use of video as the main teaching tool helped me to focus on the content and really grasp what was being said. I always have food safety anxiety, always worrying that I'm making mistakes and this course a) confirmed I know what I'm doing and b) plugged any gaps that I did have. 100%!

Great Course if it hadnt caused me issues answering 75% of the time

had problems from start to finish on all my devices, the course was very well constructed and perhaps the best delivery I have seen over 30 years in the industry. Natalie delivered the course very clear and professionally and is a credit to the industry. 2 consistent problems that occurred on my devices 1) Drag and drop had a mind of its own 2) course kept shutting me out - thank you for your time

Good course

It was a good well rounded course. My only issue was the activities where you have to click on points in the pictures as when completing on a phone it was difficult to see, zoom in and click and scroll. But the actual material was good!
